Hi there,
I've exported a sat file converted to nurbs surfaces into turbocad and then saved it as a 3dm file and imported it in to rhino3d. I believe rhino3d has a feature that will decrease the mesh lines. I find that when I want to apply shingles to a roof it helps to have the house in nurbs components so you can choose only the roof surface to apply the shingles to. Can you decrease the number of mesh lines even further in t-splines and do you need to convert this back to nurbs to apply shingles? Will a 3d paint program allow you to apply shingles to a non-nurbs surface and is there any advantage to doing this. Which 3d paint program works best with rhino3d. I have fryrender and would like to apply fryrender textures to my houses. What format should my surfaces be in to do this: nurbs, or t-splines. What command do you use to reduce the number of faces on a nurbs surface?
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
